I've Upgraded To WordPress For My Website Creation & I'm Ok With It

Hi. I'm Linda Dawkins and I recommend WordPress as an excellent tool for building your business from the ground up!

Hey you guys!

Last week I downloaded it AGAIN...

The WordPress App from the Google Play store and my oh my am I happy that I did!

I created my website and started blogging on it.  Working on another article right now, and it's just about ready to publish.

I wanted to create the a website that gave me more "control" over the logistics and technical aspects...

Another one of my websites called ThatsLoveForYou, was upgraded as well no time like the present! Did it while I had the chance to.

Whether it's for helping others or entertaining friends and family, etc. or if its to make money and have a sustainable passive income, I'd like to try it and take it to the next level.

Make the most of that opportunity... Furthering the quest to make it the best it can be.

Here's a little story about my experience as a blogger or what I like to say "digital content creation expert." I'd like to call myself that and mean it.

After learning how to blog successfully and how to build and monetize a website from scratch.
I decided to take that walk into the world of monetized websites and see how much money I can make starting now.

I'm going to take you through that process and I'm glad that I'll have you for support.  Regardless of where this takes me!

I'm making things better for me.
But as with everything, there is problem... And so it is and so it shall be.

The problem was that I was a beginner too...
Just not in the way that you're probably imagining.
For instance, My two main problems were;

1. I didn't have a steady income.

2. I was living under my adult children's care.

Probably every seniors nightmare.
I was thinking like...

"It's a good thing that I could do a lot of things for my grandchildren... " or "I don't know how long this'll last... Gotta pull my weight in every way needed..."

Blah, blah, blah, blah and yada, yada, yada.)

This was an example of where my mind was and the steps that I have taken to remedy that situation.

Change... It doesn't happen over night and it doesn't have to be difficult!

Why change?

Well, first of all, I Ain't Dead Yet and I Ain't heard no Fat Lady sing yet either.

And no-one went that cray-cray in order to be flying over no coo-coo's nest lately, at all for that matter.

Even though it was bad... It didn't get any worse.

They got better... Things are looking good right now...

It was time to act.

So I began to reason with myself... As everyone does when re-making themselves or starting over.

I had everything in place... I already knew what I was going to do and what I want to do.

I had my niche all figured out. My Marketing tactics ready. Even my advertising methods in b2b  the branding of my business had to wait my social media.

What's more was that I love to write and NOW, thanks to what I learned from the years practice, drafting, creating, curating, publishing, and waiting for the help.

That help which I so very much needed Gave me the break i needed.

It came in the form of an offer to pay for my websites domain names by my youngest son. Thanks JamalπŸ’–

I spent years publishing blogs, producing music, creating video content, content-content so much that I COULD have made a lot of money by now if my sites had been monetized but that wasn't my destiny...

TBH, I have no clue what my destiny holds. Nevertheless,

I do know something else however...

So learning on any platform became the norm for me. I am now familiar with blogging and creating content for building websites.

Upgrading just makes sense.

Being notified that your website was being closed for nonpayment of membership or domain fees or dues isn't the idea situation, better to make efforts to stay ahead of the game on that end.

Anyway, ultimately, the worse of all fates happened anyway which resulted in the site being shut down .

Weeks... No Months passed by maybe more... I'd say a full year and a half on just blogging for nothing it seemed.

I began to rebuild the same website but using WordPress... Continuing to add content.
Uploading content regularly but not as much as I probably should have been. But its never too late right?

When I began rebuilding the site it was a Free site, however, the ability to monetize it sonly becomes available after upgrading to Premium.

At the time when I began writing this, I looked forward to the day when I would own my domain name and website.

The day when I could actually use my affiliate links and perhaps earn commissions on products sold on or from any of my links.

There is a time... Like right now...

There was a time when I thought;

 "I'll upgrade... eventually"

And...

"This will come... eventually."

Even...

"I will take action... in the meantime,  Creating quality content should be my main focus. I could do that... Be content with that."

I've said all of that just to say this.

Now that I've upgraded my WordPress website To WordPress Premium I can monetize my content now.

Now... There are no limits as to how far I can or will go with it for that matter.

The proverbial"Sky Is The Limit" so to speak!

If you want to follow my progress and journey into website and content monetization, that'll be great!

For anyone that's new to blogging and its perks, such as all that I've mentioned above.
I would like to recommend that you start your own journey with a Free website then when you're ready, upgrade and monetize it!

Why? Because after you've proven to yourself that you can do it and proven that you will work the best because you are a master of your trade and have proven that you're good enough, brave enough, patient enough, consistent enough, strong enough, loyal enough and brave enough to walk the walk and talk the talk, then go ahead and upgrade.

Im ready...

I'm set...

Lets Go!!!

This blog entry is my attempt to keep you,  my readers updated on what I do for fun!
